JA Del Río is pleased to announce that is has two new associates in Mexico.

Erik Estrada is now the newest Tax Associate at our Guadalajara office and José de Jesús Jiménez isour newest Tax Associate in our Mexico City office.

Erik Estrada

Graduated as a Public Accountant from the University of Guadalajara. He is an active member of Guadalajara's Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2012 and is also a member of the Institute's International Tax Commission.

He has taken part as a speaker in numerous talks organized by different organizations such as the American Chamber of Commerce, National Chamber for the Tequila Industry and the University of Guadalajara, amongst others, he has also written articles regarding taxes in Mexico.

He has 13 years' experience providing tax consulting to a large number of companies regarding Mexican and International taxes, his work is specially recognized regarding taxes for service IMMEX programs in IT and startups companies internationally."

Erik is now our newest Tax Associate at our Guadalajara office.

José de Jesús Jiménez

Graduated as a Public Accountant from the University of Guadalajara (2004-2008), he has also completed International Tax Courses at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He has participated as a speaker regarding different tax subjects in forums organized by different institutes such as the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce, as well as for foreign clients.

He has 12 years' experience providing tax consulting to domestic and international companies, especially in the technology, Fintech, retail, fashion, automotive and manufacturing industries. As part of his professional background, he was a member of one of the big 4 four most important tax firms, and in 2012 took part in a special assignment in South Korea.

Jose joined JA Del Río in January 2016 and he is now leading Mexico City office as the new Tax Associate.
