The Ministry of Finance, [in Spanish: el Ministerio de Hacienda], held a public consultation for the Draft Resolution named: “Regulation of Electronic Invoices for Tax Purposes”.

Some of the amendments include:

• Amendments to specific obligations in Article  4.

• Exceptions are attached to the obligation of issuing and confirming electronic invoices pursuant to Article 7.

• In addition, there are changes to Article 8 regarding Exceptions to the obligation of issuing electronic invoices, among others.  

Any comments regarding the draft resolution must be sent in writing to the following e-mail: TributacionInter@hacienda.go.cr. Inquiries can be made from July 17 to July 31 of this year.
