Biography

Eduardo is a Public Accountant from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional with more than 17 years of experience in financial auditing, analysis, and corporate compliance. Throughout his career, he has led complex audits for multinational corporations at a Big Four firm and also managed finance as Controller at Marriott International for St. Regis and Edition Kanai in the Riviera Maya.

His approach combines risk assessment and management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning, with strong command of IFRS and a proven ability to design audit methodologies that enhance transparency and operational efficiency.

Over his career, he has led high-performing teams and training programs, driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and enabling timely financial reporting across diverse industries, including hospitality, entertainment, real estate, services, technology, and telecommunications.

He is currently Audit Director for the Guadalajara office at JA Del Río.
