Presentation of a bilateral route between Costa Rica and the United States for the preparation of Semiconductors

On March 22, the formal event was held to present the route for Costa Rica to become a benchmark in the preparation of semiconductors, in which JA Del Rio was present. The event was attended by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and U.S. Southern Command Commander Laura Richardson, who mentioned the importance of this project for the national and economic security of both countries.

The characteristics of Costa Rica, being a country with a close relationship with the United States, having a privileged location, a high-quality workforce, as well as the environment it offers to conduct business, were key to choosing it as the right destination.

Actions by both countries to promote the technical preparation of new professionals in semiconductors were mentioned, associated with this, Costa Rica declared the project of national interest, in order to be able to allocate the necessary resources.
