Minimum wage geographic zones shall be eliminated during the course of the year 2015.

Mexican labor authorities have carried out a revision of minimum wages for 2015 and have determined to carry out during the year, a geographic zone homologation process in order to establish a single reference minimum wage.

In the past days, authorities evaluated different factors in benefit of Mexican workers, therefore, as of April 2015, the minimum wage is increased for geographic region B, to the amount of $68.28.

Labor authorities are expected to determine a second increase to this wage in order to homologate a single minimum wage for Mexico, for the year 2015 it amounts to $70.10.
