During the webinar “Countdown: What the New Labor Reform Requires from Your Company,” organized by Humand, labor and business experts will discuss the key changes companies in Mexico should consider as the country moves toward the gradual implementation of the new labor framework.

Rolando Díaz, Senior Labor Director at JA Del Río, will join the session as a special guest to discuss the practical implications of the reform and the key areas organizations should review as they prepare their operations and labor compliance processes for 2027.

The discussion will cover topics including the gradual reduction of the workweek, which will begin in 2027 with a maximum 46-hour workweek; the electronic recording of working hours; new provisions regarding overtime work; and the potential operational adjustments these changes may require in areas such as work schedules, internal controls, and labor processes.

Beyond understanding what the reform establishes, the session will focus on how companies can translate these requirements into their day-to-day operations, identify areas that should be reviewed in advance, and prepare for the compliance implications of the new labor framework.
