Biography

Andrea Briones is Tax Director at JA Del Río’s Monterrey office. With more than 9 years of experience at a Big Four firm, she has built a solid track record in tax planning, regulatory compliance, and strategic advisory for both domestic and international clients.

Throughout her career, Andrea has led multidisciplinary teams and coordinated complex tax projects, including restructurings, mergers, spin-offs, the creation of holding companies, financial leases, and capital reductions. She has also been involved in international transactions, treaty applications, regulatory reporting compliance (ISSIF, SIPRED, electronic accounting), as well as advising individuals and corporations on income tax, VAT, and cross-border obligations.

Her leadership has been distinguished by talent development, efficient project management, and the identification of business opportunities to foster client growth.

Andrea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from the Faculty of Accounting and Business Administration. She is committed to delivering innovative and tailored tax solutions, always seeking to build trust, create value, and achieve sustainable results for her clients.
