Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Ibero-American University [in Spanish: la Universidad Iberoamericana] and holds a diploma in International Strategic Analysis from the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics [in Spanish: Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas] (CIDE).
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various governmental institutions, which notably include:
- ProMéxico, where she served as Customer Service Director for North America and was responsible for attracting investment from the United States and Canada. She also promoted exports and the internationalization of Mexican companies in North America and was responsible for receiving and supporting investors interested in developing businesses in the country. As a result, she has successfully executed more than 100 investment projects.
- Presidency of the Mexican Republic Andrea collaborated with the National Digital Strategy Coordination Office [in Spanish: la Coordinación de la Estrategia Digital Nacional].
- In the National Institute of the Entrepreneur [in Spanish: el Instituto Nacional del Emprendedor] (INADEM), she was the event coordinator and state liaison, where she successfully carried out and coordinated the creation of 32 entrepreneurship advisory boards and followed up on matters related to international associations such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, [in Spanish: la Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos], (OCDE).
- At the state level, she performed the duties of Director of Business Development and Investment Attraction in the Secretariat for Economic Development [in Spanish: la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico], where she assisted in more than 95 projects funded through public programs from state initiatives, to attract investment, which reached an all-time high in the state regarding direct foreign investment.
