Biography

Daniel holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and has more than 15 years of experience in transfer pricing, financial valuation, and tax analysis in multinational contexts.

He has led complex, multi-jurisdiction planning and documentation projects (Local File, Master File, and Country-by-Country Report), as well as tax controversy work—including Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs)—for companies in sectors such as energy, technology, mining, manufacturing, and consumer goods. His background spans both the public and private sectors: he served as a Transfer Pricing Auditor at Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) and later as Senior Economist at an international law firm, including a secondment in Washington, D.C.

Has served as a Financial Valuation professor at Tec de Monterrey and participates in the Transfer Pricing Commission of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nuevo León. He is currently the Transfer Pricing Director for JA Del Río’s Monterrey office.
