Biography

With 16 years of experience, Guillermo Escalona has specialized in Internal Control and Auditing Technology, with a solid track record in projects as they pertain to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and AICPA standards (SOC 1/SOC 2). His leadership in managing high performance teams and complex portfolios, as well as delivering innovative solutions, positions him as an expert in the field. Through a disciplined and results-oriented approach, Guillermo has made a significant impact in global firms, including two of the Big Four, always standing out for his effective communication skills, logical thinking, and commitment to excellence.

He has led the operations of teams within the manufacturing, consumer, retail, technology, financial services, and healthcare industries, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of SOX and SOC compliant and technical audits. In addition, he has managed portfolios with dozens of clients and managed a broad portfolio of over 100 projects, interacting directly with both local and international stakeholders.

Guillermo combines extensive international experience in audit technology with strategic leadership and communication skills. 

His is currently a Technology Risk Partner at JA Del Río.
