Biography

Luis Alberto Guzmán is a Certified Public Accountant from the National Polytechnic Institute with a master’s degree in strategic business Consulting from the Universidad Panamericana.

He has over 12 years of experience at a Big Four firm, specializing in corporate taxation. He has extensive experience in tax advisory services related to income tax and value-added tax for both national and international companies across various sectors, including consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare, entertainment, mining, energy, and technology.

Luis has participated in numerous corporate restructurings, advising mergers, spin-offs, and acquisitions for both national and multinational groups. He has achieved significant reductions in clients' tax burdens and optimized their tax structures, earning recognition for his ability to provide strategic tax solutions.

He is the author and co-author of several opinion articles in Consultorio Fiscal and Puntos Finos magazines, demonstrating a deep understanding of tax laws and best practices.

Currently, Luis Alberto Guzmán is the Tax Director for the CDMX office.
