1. (i) The Ministry of Labor, through Decree 2613 of December 28th, 2022, set the minimum wage for Colombians for January 1st, 2023, at COP$1,160,000.

(ii) The Ministry of Labor, through decree 2614 of December 28th, 2022, set the value of legal transportation assistance at COP$140,606.

2. Consider that on February 14th; companies are obliged to make the consignment of layoffs to the funds; For this purpose, the calculation of the layoffs is made with a cutoff of December 31st and the consignment must be made before February 15th.

The non-consignment of layoffs in the fund selected by the employee before February 15th will result in a penalty of one day's salary for each delay.

3. During January, all employers must pay their employees interest on severance pay as of December 31st of the previous year or proportional to the time worked if this is less. 

Compensation for non-timely payment of severance interest is a one-time payment of an amount equal to the interest caused; the deadline for payment is January 31st.

4. Through circular No. 0015 of 2022, the Ministry of Labor ratifies the obligation of employers to assume the cost of occupational medical evaluations and complementary tests or evaluations.

5. The Ministry of Labor, through Decree No. 2322 of November 28th, 2022, decrees the base limits of social security contributions.

(iv) Establishes the minimum base of 1 salary and the maximum of 25 Current Legal Minimum Monthly Salary - CLMMS.

(v) For dependent employees who receive additional income as independent workers, they must report their income in the formats established by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC- for its acronym in Spanish).

(vi) If the Colombian economy is higher than 4% for three years and fiscal spending is less than two points of GDP, the maximum contribution limit will be 45 CLMMS.
