Biography

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management with honors from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).

Karla has over thirteen years of experience in M&A Transaction Services, having advised on more than 150 transactions. Before joining JA Del Río as a Partner, she held a partnership position at a Big Four firm. Throughout her career, she has led multicultural teams and cross-border transactions across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, serving global clients.

Karla has been involved in business valuations, financial modeling, EBITDA analysis, working capital, and net debt assessments. She has experience in various sectors, including consumer products, retail, manufacturing, financial services, and energy. Her practice focuses on comprehensive financial advisory for buy-side and sell-side transactions, due diligence, deal structuring, and risk analysis, among others.

Karla is currently Partner in Transaction Services at JA Del Río’s Mexico City office.
