On October 30, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) released, through its official website, version 3.6.9 of the SUA (Self-Determined Payment System).

According to the IMSS announcement, the main changes included in this update are as follows:

• Adjustment in the registration of incidents applicable from bimonthly period 25/05 onward.
• Continued configuration to apply the new deadline for compliance with Article 29 of the INFONAVIT Law, effective from bimonthly period 25/06.

It is important to remember that, pursuant to Article 39 of the Social Security Law, employers are required to calculate their contribution amounts using the software authorized by the Institute, namely the SUA.

Recommendations before installing version 3.6.9:

1. Perform a full backup of your current SUA system.
2. Review the installation manual available in the official IMSS publication.
3. Verify that the updated values (UMA, UMI, SMG, INPC, among others) are correctly configured.
