On Wednesday December 7, 2022, the Official Gazette of the Federation, [in Spanish:  el Diario Oficial de la Federación], published the Ruling  from the Representatives of the National Minimum Wage Commission, [in Spanish: la Resolución del Consejo de Representantes de la Comisión Nacional de los Salarios Mínimos]; which establishes the general  minimum wage and professional minimum wage for 2023.

The general minimum wage will be in force as of January 01 and will increase by 20%, rising to $312.41 pesos daily per workday in the Northern Border Free Zone, [in Spanish: la Zona Libre de la Frontera Norte], while in the rest of the country the general minimum wage will be $207.44 pesos daily per workday.
