On June 1, 2021, the Tax Administration Service (SAT) issued an administrative rule allowing legal entities to renew their electronic signature (e.Signature) through the SAT webpage, as long as: (i) the e.Signature has expired within the previous year (at the latest); (ii) the legal representative who obtained the expired e.Signature remains the same; and (iii) such legal representative holds an active e.Signature.
